Christmas

Christmas Eve and morning were really fun this year. Brooks is actually starting to get it and so it was so much fun to start some traditions and see his reactions to everything. Christmas Eve we had my mom and Tom and Caiden over and I made Aebelskivers (sp?) or as Brooks likes to call them, ball pancakes. Then we opened pajama presents and read Brooks the Twas The Night Before Christmas. I made gingerbread cookies for Santa and Brooks had fun setting them out with a glass of milk. He was so excited the next morning to see if Santa had eaten them. We woke up early and Brooks opened his presents from Santa before church. Hudson slept in so he missed this part. Brooks was so excited to open his presents. The first one he opened though was some clothes and he said "Um, let's find a toy!". He knows what's up. After presents we got ready and went to church. When we got home Mimi and Papa came over with a whole other load of presents for them to open and both boys had a blast. That afternoon Tom's son Nick and his wife and their three kids came over and hung out and we had dinner here with them. Caiden showed up a little later too. It was a lot of fun to hang out with everyone! Now for the pictures....

I love how the bottom area of your tree has no ornaments. That's totally how it is w/ toddlers!

Sounds like you had a nice Christmas!

Great Post Holley!! Glad you guys had a Great Christmas!! So funny, Emily sounds like she was the same as Brooks! If the present was a toy she was ALL OVER THAT, but clothes got thrown to the way side quickly:) Oh and I love your hair, by the way!! Hope you guys are having a great 2012:)
